What is Quest Mode?
Quest Mode is xCloud's autonomous execution mode. Instead of collaborating through chat, you delegate an entire task to an agent and let it work independently.
How It Works
- Describe the task — Tell the agent what you want done
- Agent plans — It explores your intent and creates an action plan
- Autonomous execution — The agent runs tasks across local and cloud environments
- Review results — Check the output when it's done
Switching to Quest Mode
In the chat panel, click the Editor/Quest tab switcher at the top. Select Quest to enter autonomous mode.

Limitations
- Quest Mode requires a capable model (Claude Sonnet 4+, GPT-4o, etc.)
- Long-running tasks may consume significant API tokens
- Always review results before deploying to production
