Getting Started
Installation
Download and install xCloud for macOS.
Download
xCloud Desktop is currently available for macOS only:
- macOS — Apple Silicon (arm64) and Intel (x64), macOS 14+
Windows and Linux desktop builds are planned, but they are not available in the current release.
Visit xcloud.dev/download to get the latest version.

First Launch
When you open xCloud for the first time, you'll be guided through a setup wizard:
- Choose an LLM provider — Select from 30+ providers or use local Ollama
- Enter your API key — Paste your API key for the chosen provider
- Device identity — A unique device identity is created automatically
- You're ready — Start building agents
Updating
xCloud checks for updates automatically. You can also manually check via Settings > General > Check for updates.
